Last week we celebrated World Book Week at Swan Lane, and although we didn't dress up for the occasion, there were plenty of different literary activities throughout the week for the children to enjoy.
We welcomed some of the children from Year 2, who came to read with us. We enjoyed sharing our books with them and listening to them read to us. We also participated in a bookmark competition, with the winner and runner up being announced in assembly on Thursday.
Finally, on Friday, we swapped teachers with Year 4 for part of the afternoon - Mr Morgan came to share a story with us while Mrs Vaqueiro visited his class.
