In 3V this half term, we have been following the 'Charanga' online music programme for schools, developing our musical understanding and learning new skills. Our focus song for the half term is 'Let Your Spirit Fly' and we have been learning to spot the rhythms in the song, and developing our understanding of written music, by looking at the different notes on the stave, and counting beats in a bar.
Today, we had a go at playing a simple harmony to the song on the glockenspiels - beginning with a single note 'C,' and then moving to more complex patterns involving sequences of different notes.
