Inspired by our recent studies of the Roman city of Pompeii and the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, one of the children in 3V has been very busy at home creating a model of the city.
The amazing model shows Pompeii before, during and after the eruption of the volcano in AD79 and is operated using a series of different levers which change the different scenes. The degree of thought, effort and skill put into the design and construction of the model is phenomenal.
These photos hardly do it justice, but we are all very impressed by the finished result! Well done!
