As part of our geography work in Year 3, we have been studying different aspects of the continent of North America.
This week, the children have been using the laptops to research famous North American landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty, Niagara Falls and the Kukulcan Pyramid. This enabled us to recap on our computing skills from earlier in the year, when we learnt how to search for information safely on the internet. We used the Kidrex search engine which is specifically designed with children in mind.
Once the children had researched their choices of landmarks and made notes, they compiled their own written report to share with the class.
