Today is World Book Day! All the children enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book character, and we spent the day enjoying a variety of literary activities, including designing new book covers, making bookmarks, playing guessing games and quizzes and indulging in some wonderful quiet reading time. We also had a visit from Mrs Hurst, who read a story to the class.
Earlier this week, the children in 3V also took part in a 'Book Buddies' activity, sharing their reading books with some of the children in 5B.
