English lessons - w/b Monday 9th January

Our history topic this half term focuses on Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age, and our English lessons over the next few weeks have been chosen to complement our studies.

This week, we have been reading 'The First Drawing' by Mordicai Gerstein, honing our inference and prediction skills by exploring the author's use language and the illustrations in the book.

Next week, we will be putting ourselves into the shoes of the main character and creating our own diary entries based on the story.
