Happy new year and welcome to the Spring Term in 3V!
A new year is often a time for people to reflect and set themselves resolutions for the months ahead. In our PSHE lessons this half term, we will be exploring Dreams and Goals. Today, we had a class discussion about different dreams and goals, and some of the challenges that different people might face in their daily lives which might make it harder for them to achieve their goals.
We looked at a set of photos of different people, and considered what challenges or obstacles they might be facing. We talked about how the obstacles might hinder their progress, and what they could do to succeed. We ranked the different challenges according to the level of difficulty they might present, with some interesting results—not everyone agreed on the same order, but all the children put their views across and listened politely to each other.
