Last week was Children's Mental Health Week, and the children at Swan Lane shared a number of different activities designed to support good mental health.
We learnt some new strategies to help us to face challenges calmly and positively, at a workshop led by Mrs O'Brien. We chose our own class Morning Mantra to make sure that each days begins with a positive mindset: ours is 'Be kind, be positive and have a fantastic day!'
During the week, we practised mindfulness meditation in the classroom, and went to visit our friends in RW for a shared reading session.
We finished the week on a happy note by joining together in a sing-song with the whole school.
