In a couple of weeks' time, the children in 3V will be attending a Modern Languages Festival for local schools held at Prince Henry's High School. We will be performing some Portuguese children's songs - Borboletinha (Little Butterfly) and Brilha Brilha Estrelinha (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star).
If your children would like to practise at home, you can find a version of Borboletinha here. It is very catchy so I can only apologise if you find yourself humming it for days!
The Portuguese words for Twinkle Twinkle Little Star are as follows (the tune is the same!):
